How early does morning sickness start?

This morning I woke up starving, but when I actually was sitting in front of my food, I felt queasy. It was all I could do to choke it down. Husband and I have been TTC #1 for 4 months now. I want to be pregnant so bad. But I don't want to psych myself out. When I do that, I get bad depression when my period comes. So I made a rule that I can't take a pregnancy test until the day before or day of my period, so as not to get my hopes up. I'm now 10 days away from my period (it comes a few days late more often than not), and today has me feeling excited that I might be pregnant.

So my question is: how early in a pregnancy does morning sickness start?

I had morning sickness from 5dpo till delivery with my 2nd. I was in denial about being pregnant (had just been through 2 late m/c) so I ignored it til I couldn't make it through Dinner and a Movie for my 21st birthday,  I was nearly 8wks by then.
This time around,  I am also 5dpo like yourself and I'm nauseous also.  I don't wanna get too excited either.  Goodluck girl,  keep me posted! !!

Sounds weird but my prenatals make me ridiculously hungry and I'll sometimes feel sick if I go too long without food. I sip on sweet tea or juice before actually eating to get my blood sugar up a little and take the edge off so I can eat. Good luck!

The "normal" time is 7-9 weeks but not every person is the same for me I had nausea at 9 dpo and by 6 weeks I was throwing up some mornings by 7 weeks it was constant.

I'm nearly 5 weeks and no sickness yet
