We’ve been exposed 😩 update!
Ugh. The number of cases in our area was significantly down. We’ve been careful, and was finally beginning to go out and be around more people. My husbands uncle came over last Thursday and Friday to help us with some home repairs. He called this morning and said that he has taken his wife to the doctor Saturday because she was running a low grade temp, and they tested both him and her for COVID. Both were positive.
I’m 23 weeks pregnant, married, with a four year old. We were all exposed. Thankfully, he only came in the house once over the two days that he was here, for only about five minutes. The repairs he was doing were outside, so we weren’t up close and personal. But, I kept taking him water/Gatorade since it was so hot, and gave him a towel to use for sweat.
Thankfully, I also deep cleaned the house Saturday, but still. 😭 I feel stupid.
Cheers to doing another quarantine.
(And no, he has no symptoms. His wife felt poor and had a low grade fever and that’s the only reason he even got tested in the first place)
Update: My husband and I talked about it and decided to get tested ourselves. It was awful, but then again I’m a big wimp when it comes to nasal swabs. We went to a clinic that had rapid results, and we both tested negative! 🙌🏼
