Misoprostol vaginally?

I literally just took my first dose of 4 Misoprostol about 15-20 minutes ago and I’m already feeling period like cramping when should I expect to start bleeding? I had a 4th ultrasound today to confirm blighted ovum sac measured 6weeks6days. I’m so scared

It took about 9 hours for me. I bled like a normal period for two days but didn’t fully miscarry, so I ended up needing a d&c.

I bled within the hour of using the misoprostol vaginally. I bled like crazy for like 8 hours. Unfortunately,  I didn't pass any of the tissue even though I bled so much and had to repeat the meds the next week ( which also didn't work so I needed a D&C). I hope it goes way more smoothly for you. So sorry for your loss.

I’m sorry you have to go through this! I did not take mine vaginally so I can’t comment on when it will start. I had 2 miscarriages and took the pills both times. Each time I had a few hours of actively passing clots (maybe 3/4/or 5 hours??) and then a heavy period like bleed after that. I experienced heavy cramping that I compare to having contractions during early labor. It was painful for me so I would prepare and take a pain killer now. Good luck.

I took mine maybe 6-7pm and was up multiple times during the night passing clots. Wasn’t painful I’d just feel almost urge to pee but once I sat to potty blood and some clots would just fall out of me a little at a time.
