Do the curly girl method. Watch you tube tutorials and it will help you a lot, figure out the posterity of your hair by doing a float test (goggle it) with a few stands it’ll give you huge insight as to the texture of the hair shaft. Use the LOC method from curly girl religiously (liquid oil cream) all sulfate/silicone/paraben free products from now on and  it’ll eliminate the dryness and frizz. Silicone basically coats the hair preventing anything from being absorbed and when it’s worn off it’s dryer than before. Invest in ‘not your mothers naturals’ like $10 for shampoo/conditioner and my fav cream is their curl talk in the purple bottle. Only plop your hair, use NO heat. And in a month you won’t believe your curls are yours. I’d also say your prolly a 3b for curl type but that with the pics provided so I could be off a letter

Your hair kind of looks like my daughter's. I use Aussie Moist products to shampoo and condition her hair and Garnier Coconut curly leave in conditioner after.

I like the brand Maui it’s around $10 both shampoo and conditioner they have different formulas depending on your hair also, I would get the thick curly hair if I were you ( not sure if your hair is thick tho lol I can’t really tell ) I use the dry hair one and I like it a lot it makes my hair really smooth and it smells good

Look into the curly girl method. I did it before I shaved my head. Sulfate free products. But essentially, it’s about what your hair likes. I’d go with something moisturizing but don’t over moisturize because it can lead to even more dry or oily hair
