Postpartum yeast infection ?

Ok so I had a baby may 31st, I’m not bleeding or anything anymore, I noticed white clumps and itching so I’m pretty sure it’s a yeast infection. Usually if just go grab monistat but my 6 weeks isn’t all the way up.. BUT it’s almost up I’m 5 weeks pp right now .. I contacted the office requesting an appointment but I haven’t been reached back at all. I don’t think they care because it’s just a yeast infection and due to corona I know they’re limiting non important appointments... would I be fine just using some monistat even tho I’m only 5 weeks post partum? I don’t want to wait on them I want the itching to GO NOW.
