First time dad gifts not about alcohol, bbq or sports

I’ve noticed how cliched men’s gifts are over the years. Suggested gifts dealing with drinking alcohol, grilling outside of sports. Anyone have any ideas for first time dad gifts that don’t have to do with things like that? They seem so one dimensional.

My husband's first father's day we went to a PaintAway and made a mug with baby's footprint and #1 Dad. To this day it's his favorite coffee mug.

I got my son and husband matching shirts. My husband is into NASCAR so I had shirts made that say “shake” “& bake” with the NASCAR colors behind it. (In reference to the movie Talladega Nights)

I did this year a basket of scratch tickets and his fav candy and body wash. I love the painting mug idea from above to to go with it.

My husband likes Top Gun, so I found him a matching shirt set. His said Maverick and ours son’s onesie said Goose. He loved it.

I got my husband his own diaper backpack that was a little more his size and not as feminine, I think it’s the Columbia brand but I got it off amazon. For his first fathers I got him a hooray hero’s book.

I did this (not this exact frame) for my husband’s first Father’s Day. My son was just starting to say “dada” at the time, so I got him to say it while recording and then put a picture of the two of them inside. He loved it, and it’s still sitting on his office desk 2 years later.
