Maternity clothes?

Question

When do most people start wearing maternity clothes? I’m 17 weeks tomorrow and can still wear some Of my jeans. Wondering if I just bite the bullet and order some on sale to see if I like them.

I’ve been in maternity clothes since 9 weeks with this pregnancy and 8 weeks with my son. I carry very low and tend to show quickly

My first pregnancy I didn’t wear them at all, by the end of my pregnancy I was just in leggings and dresses (July baby) My second I had a belly band at probably 18 weeks. I’m 17 weeks with baby #3 and baby #4 and I’m wearing maternity shorts or dresses all the time. I have a belly band but it’s too hot for most of my jeans and none of my regular shorts fit my thighs 😂😂 so I’ve invested in some maternity shorts and they are so comfy. So worth it. But it’s really based off of your body and how big you get.

First pregnancy I never wore maternity bottoms, they were all too big. I started wearing maternity shirts about week 34

I started with shorts with the elastic side panels at 13 weeks. I was super bloated and anything tight really irritated me. The ones I got are from Target and really aren’t too bit, just allow for some stretching. For jeans and work pants I’m still doing the hair tie through the button hole trick. I have jeans that have the full stretchy panel but those are still a little too big on my stomach. I’m still wearing all my same tops, some I’ve had to phase out because my bust is much bigger. I’m lucky to wear scrubs to work so I’m able to wear a sports bra everyday.

This is my first pregnancy and I started last week (15) weeks wearing maternity dress pants. I have a belly band but I was just tired of fighting my regular dress pants. Sooo much more comfortable! I kinda want to wear them after maternity lol. I also wore maternity jeans for the first time on Friday. Also so much more comfortable!

Still in in normal clothes at 15 weeks once I start to show a little more then I’ll use a hair tie thought the pant loop probably for a few weeks before going into maternity pants. I don’t think I wore them till 28/30 weeks in my first pregnancy.

I started wearing them my last pregnancy around 17 weeks.... and I honestly haven’t really stopped since 😂 my son is 14 months old and I’ve almost exclusively wore maternity jeans/leggings since he was born aside from my work uniform. They’re just so much more comfortable to me than my regular ones. I’m about 17 weeks with my second and had to swap out my work uniform for maternity last week.

I broke them out yesterday. My babies tend to carry low. 15 weeks!

I’m 18 weeks and I still wear some of my regular pants but have worn a couple maternity pants as well.
