I’m 17 weeks and so far I’ve lost 16lbs! Just though lack of appetite and sickness. I did the same with my first pregnancy, by the time I gave birth I was back at my normal weight, so when I gave birth I weighed less than before I was pregnant!

With my son I didn’t even gain 15 lbs my entire pregnancy. I’m tall and have a long torso so he grew up, not out. I’m 15 weeks along with baby #2 and I’ve only gained 2lbs. What matters more is the fundal height when they start to measure your belly. If the docs not worried don’t worry yourself. Some women just don’t gain a lot of weight during pregnancy.

It really depends on your pre pregnancy weight and if you’ve lost any weight during the first trimester. That question is best answered by your doctor. I had to go see mine the other day because I’ve lost 16 pounds, 4 of which were lost after I entered the 2nd trimester. But she reassured that as long as I’m eating and trying to get in 1800 calories, I should be good.
