said “i love you” after 4 days

have they ever met before? no. have they ever called of facetimed eachother? no.

5 days ago my friend called me, balling abt a boy she thinks she loves but can never date. literally the next day she’s fine and “falling” for a new guy.

she sent me texts he sent her and they scream red flags. i ignored it and was like “that part is a little shady but the rest is so cute” ya know, trying to be positive. tells me today after talking to him for 4 days that she’s in love and they have both said “i love you”. i believe he is making a bet with his friends because they are bored.

“how to lose a guy in 10 days” where the guy said he could make a girl fall for him in 10 days. i believe his friends are betting on this and she’s falling for it. i told her today he screams red flag 🚩 and 4 days is a little too quick and he’s lying to her abt things but she got mad and said “stop talking about my baby like that.”

so now i’m just sitting here, waiting this out for a few days until she comes crying because he begins ghosting her or something.

(she falls for a guy every week so hopefully this ends soon) this was more so a rant. i’m very disappointed in her honesty but she’s too blind to even consider what i am saying. worst part is her mom is supporting this and she’s almost 18.
