Get a 12” or 16” bike with training wheels ?!

What size ?! I’m stumped. My son is tall

We just went bike shopping and 12” was way too small for my girl. There will be tags on the bikes for suggested height of the rider. My daughter is 40” tall. The 16” bike was too big so we ordered a 14” bike online.

I got my daughter the 12” and it’s perfect. Anything bigger and she probably wouldn’t have been able to pedal
