I recently got a positive pregnancy test on Monday, so of course I took another and got another positive. Tuesday I had a urine test at the doctors and it came back negative. I was so upset and went home and got two more positives. My period isn’t due until this coming Tuesday. I took another one on Wednesday and still positive. The dr said it’s too early to tell and I probably just had protein in my urine. I’ve ordered protein detecting urine strips and they’re on the way. Does anyone know why the drs urine test could be negative and mine would be consistently positive. I’ve taken five in the span of three days. I’m very hydrated and used two different brands. Would the doctors test not be affected by protein? Please help
