So my boyfriend and I are going to be visiting his friend soon. I’ve never met him in person before as he lives about an hour away but I have heard him a lot when he plays xbox with my boyfriend and all he does is make really sexist horrible jokes about women constantly. It got to the stage whenever I’m with my boyfriend and they’re on xbox together I have to put in my headphones so I don’t hear the shit he talks. My boyfriend says it’s all jokes and he would stand up if it was about me which he has done before. However, we were talking the other day about visiting his friend and I said that I will act friendly but if he makes any jokes I will call him out for it, but my boyfriend said how he doesn’t want me to do that. I’m not sure what to think of it really so what would you do in my situation?
