Did your water break? Did you have to get induced? At what week and tell me about your experience.

With my first I started to have contractions at 40+5. I ended up going to the hospital that night and got admitted at around 12:30 am. I was only 3 cm dilated but they said judging from the amount of pain and how close my contractions were I was in I was having a baby one way or another that night. Got the epidural at about 3:30 am, fell asleep until about 8:45 am. I woke up to a wet bed sheet and thought my catheter fell out and I peed the bed. Nope. It was my waters and I was 10 cm dilated! Doctor came in around 9:15 and I had my son at 9:52 am. Very easy labor and delivery. He was 7 pounds 6.8 ounces and 20.9 inches long.

With my first I was induced at 41+2, starting with a pill and then some kind of plastic tab with a string on it to start the dilation & effacement (I was still almost completely long and closed). I went into labor on my own, but ended up on pitocin later. Labor was 30 hours start to finish and I pushed for 4 hours.

With my first I went to the dr for my regular 40 week check up I believe and I was already 4-5 cm dilated and the dr could feel my bag of water so they sent me to the hospital. With my first I had that strep B so before they broke my water they gave me the antibiotics for a few hours and then broke my water I believe it was around 7-8 pm and then I had him at 2:58 am. He was 4 days late weighing 7lbs 6 oz.

My first is now 2yr4mon and I went into labor naturally at 39 + 4 around 11pm. I had my bloody show begin, then an hour later there was much more. Contractions started right after that and were already close to 5 minutes apart. Got to the hospital and was 5cm dilated around 2am. My water never broke, they had to break it when I was 9.5cm. I had my son at 10:18am, 2 days before his due date 🥰

Just had my first on Monday. I was induced at 38+3 because of preeclampsia. After 12 hours of cervadil and 12 hours of pitocin, I was only dilated to 3cm and my blood pressure was rising, so my OB decided to go ahead and deliver me via c section. Turned out, the reason I wasn't progressing was because I was trying to birth a 10lbs2oz baby, and my doctor said she didn't think he could fit well in my pelvis to put pressure on my cervix.
