Update.. Prodromal Labor

I’m almost 38 weeks and spent last two days with contractions that were inconsistent but close enough to average about 20 minutes apart. Just got checked at doctors and nothing has changed! Still 50% effaced and 1 centimeter dilated. He also mentioned cervix being High! But he confirmed what I’ve been having is contractions since me moving brings them on even more and it goes from back to front. He is saying Im having Prodromal Labor... Whatever that means.. all I know is I thought I was so much closer than where I am.. super disappointed 😖
