When is it “safe” to announce pregnancy?

Is it 12 weeks? 10 weeks? When does miscarriage % go down?

We will announce our pregnancy after my first scan when I’m 8 weeks

I’m not gonna say anything to my family until I’m around 7 weeks. And nothing on social media until around 20 weeks when I find out the gender! That’s how I’ve done it with my other two kids.

We aren’t saying anything until I’m at least out of my first trimester, probably once we know the gender. I’ve had 3 losses before this. My second one being 9 weeks after hearing a healthy heartbeat so I want to be sure we are out of scariest part ♥️

With my first we told our family straight away when I was around 4 weeks which then seemed to drag but planning something special this time around, ideally going to wait for first scan but depends how early I start showing. I was showing around 8 weeks with our daughter, I guess lockdown will make it easier x

When I went for a pre- TTC consultation (I’m on a bunch of meds and wanted to see what’s safe,) she told me that if everything was going well it’s relatively safe to announce at 10 weeks
