I weaned my little one off the boob three weeks ago, but he is still pushing for it and always asking for it. He won’t go to sleep at night, and the temper tantrums are crazy! I initially weaned him because I needed more freedom (please don’t shame me, I haven’t left his side in 11.5 months and it was getting to me) but now he takes a bottle just fine, but still wants the comfort aspect of nursing. Is it possible to nurse him only before bed, and keep the bottle feedings throughout the day? Do you think he would regress back to only accepting the boob and not taking the bottle? I know I don’t want to go back to full time nursing, but he’s not ready to let go of boobie comfort.
