What am I doing wrong

Question

I bought a menstrual cup yesterday and I've been doing a lot of research about it. Anyway yesterday I tried to put it in and after a few tries I got it but it wont freaking pop open and I dont know what I'm doing wrong I've tried so many times and also sorry for the TMI but when I push I can literally see the stem of the cup coming out of me 
Hellppp I really wanna use one cause I hate pads and tampons

Try a different style cup. For example; I used the diva cup but found it was kind of uncomfortable and just didn’t feel “right” so I switched to the soft cup brand which is more of a disc instead of a cup. It fits wayyy better and I haven’t had any leaks.

Sometimes that’s happens to me when the angle is wrong. You need patience and to relax. It’s definitely a learning curve. Stick with it. Try different folds, different positions. Best position for me is sitting on the toilet. Pinch the bottom and twist it around to try to get it to open
