Anyone COVID positive?

I’m looking to see if anyone has been COVID positive and what your experience was (I.e how severe were your symptoms, how long did they last, etc)

Answer

I haven’t tested positive (knock on wood), but I’m a prison nurse and we have COVID-19 at multiple units. I’ve card for upwards of 1,000 positive offenders. I’ve screened somewhere in the realm of 2,500 offenders for symptoms. I’d say about 60% of the positives have been asymptomatic (they wouldn’t have known had they not been tested during mass testing and neither would we). For most of the symptomatic offenders I’ve had, they’ve have headaches, felt sort of like they had severe allergies or a cold, muscle aches, and lower than normal oxygen saturation (someone that sats 100% on room air usually might sat at 92%). We’ve had some severe cases and some deaths from it, but most of the cases we’ve seen have been fairly mild and manageable.
