When do should i begin to discuss maternity leave with HR ? When exactly should I tell HR about my pregnancy?

Our HR won’t submit anything until at least 26 weeks

You should let your upper management know ASAP. If you’re on restriction also make sure you get those from your doctor. As for maternity leave you don’t have to worry about that til you’re about to give birth. I’m out on leave due to exposure to Covid and my job has chemicals being used. Mine is more personal leave of absence if anything not ML make sure you know the difference when informing your HR.
