Fertility clinic referral UK

Hey everyone. Has anybody here, specifically from the UK, been referred by your GP to a fertility clinic and can give me an insight into what happened next and what your initial tests etc included?

Bit of background info-

my husband and I have been trying for almost 2 years, we’ve had bloods, swabs etc done by the GP and I recently had a CT to check for a tumour on my pituitary gland which came back clear. The next step is for us to be referred to a fertility specialist and I’m just really curious as to what our next steps will be...

Any info / advice anybody can give me would be so greatly received 💗🤞🏽 thanks so much.
