IUD mood swings?

I've been on Mirena IUD for almost a year now and it's been alright so far, no babies! But I have been noticing that I've been very irritable lately and I'm not sure if it's because of the IUD or not. Has anyone else noticed this? And also, almost every time I have sex I start to bleed, it's mostly spotting but this happens almost every time afterwards!

Hi! I have a mirena IUD and it's not supposed to affect you like that, at least that's what my gyno has told me. I've had mine for 3 years with out any problems

Same thing happened with my friend- didn't say anything about mood swings tho. She stated bleeding every time after else's &I eventually got her period back. She's getting it taken out and putting a new one back in. I'd go to your doc and get it checked to be on the safe side!!

If your bleeding after every time you have sex you should go to your gyno and get it checked out. It could have moved and got imbedded in the walls of your uterus
