First ultrasound and found something on ovary???

I had my first scan yesterday and the baby was perfect measurements and had a perfect heartbeat.. However he found something on my ovary but I didn't think to ask him what it was.. Now this has me really worried :( has anyone else had the same thing? I am 7 weeks 4 days

Don't worry about it too much I have one in my breast and I can feel it so much more now that I'm pregnant and it scares me but I was told it's my cancerous as most cysts are not!!!

I have a big cyst on my ovary. It hasn't caused me any trouble. Something on your ovary is probably a cyst. They're really common, and usually harmless, though some might need surgery.

When you ovulate you develop a cyst on the ovary that released the egg and this gives the hormones you need for the baby right at the beginning. It generally just disappears once the baby takes over. They saw mine on 6wk scan and it was gone on 8wk scan. Maybe it was just that?

They found an abnormality in a breast ultrasound I had because of bloody discharge :(
