It’s just a subchronic hematoma. I wouldn’t worry if it’s just a small one. I had one with my daughter and it dissolved on its own :) I never had any spotting. It was about the size of the sac on my 9 week scan, about blueberry sized at my 17 and completely gone at my 20 week. If you do spot though it’s most likely just from that so you don’t have to worry!

I had one with my first son and just had a tiny drop of blood. With this pregnancy I had one and it was a ton of blood. Puddle on the floor, tons of clots. They almost admitted me because of the blood loss. Babe is still in there though :)
