I am getting my iud inserted next week and I was wondering what your experiences have been with it and if you would recommend it??

I have the Mirena 5 year IUD, and I’m almost done with my 5 years now. It hurts a little to insert but it’s 30 seconds of pain so it’s well worth it. The IUD is the best thing I’ve ever done and I absolutely love it. I pretty much stopped having all period symptoms too!
