So I have hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).

I’ve had it for years. I always thought it was ingrown hairs but last year it started to get worse. I did so many rounds of amoxicillin and it did nothing. Last year it got really bad and wouldn’t close so I went to the doctor and got diagnosed with HS.

I got put on more amoxicillin and did nothing. (A few months ago)

Now it is worse I can barely move my arms. I got put on 2 antibiotics for 3 months. I started the second month like a week ago and it is not getting any better.. I went to the doctor again. And they want to put me on Humira.

Which I am very nervous about. I have to get it approved from my cardiologist because I have a heart condition.

If you have HS and are taking Humira can you please tell me your experience with it? Or if you have HS in general what helps you calm it down. Please and thank you.
