Permanent Sunburn and Sun Damage ☀️
So when I was 17 I went to my friends graduation. I made the stupid mistake of not putting on sunscreen and it caused sun damage to my chest which left it permanently red. I went to a dermatologist/family friend who did this lazer treatment on my chest which worked a little but left weird spots on my chest so I ended it. The redness faded very little. I learned to live with it even though people would occasionally tell, "you have a sunburn on your chest" (which after awhile became annoying as hell). There still didn't seem to be much that I could do. I had became more consistent with applying sunscreen but I fucked up again. I have yet to see the damage.
I have looked up solutions to my predicament and it seems there are a few "solutions". I was interested in trying a chemical peel but I'd rather speak with a dermatologist but with COVID and everything I'm not quite sure if I can and I'm also afraid they'll allow me to come in just to tell me I'm shit out of luck.
So I decided for right now to ask if any of you have the same problem and what you did to reduce the redness. I don't think I will cure myself of it. But I'd like to hear from other people who are going through this and what they did. Any suggestions are appreciated.
