My daughter is 8 months old and now she flips all around in her crib and puts her feet through the rails. She does this on purpose, I think she sleeps comfortably like this! It drives me insane. Her pediatrician told me bumpers are not safe, she said even the breathable ones aren’t safe at all. Idk what to do!!! I don’t want her to break her foot or something. She sleeps in a sleepsack too and still gets her legs in the rails.

Update**** - after lots of research and reading other people’s responses on reddit to bumpers including mesh bumpers , it seems there’s too much of a risk with bumpers. So I’d rather have a leg stuck in the rail than SIDS
