Does your husband have sex with you if you've been cranky lately?

My husband said he doesn't feel romantic or in the mood if I've been cranky at all. He said he would feel more in the mood if I was positive and cheerful. I get that. I haven't been my best self lately. But I'm trying to be happy and he doesn't seem to notice that. But it's like refusing sex until I'm perfectly cheerful and positive all the time feels so mean because I'm even more cranky because of the dry spell!!!

Yep. My husband doesn't like to have sex if I'm cranky or in a bad mood says it kills it for him because then he thinks I'm doing it just to do it

Yea when I'm cranky my guy think sex will help. I try to explain when I am depressed I'm just not in the mood and he understands for the most part.

No. If I’ve been cranky or moody (or even if he thinks I have been) he says it’s a turn off. It can be frustrating bc sometimes he reads way too into things, and thinks me being stressed out bc of something unrelated to him like work is me being annoyed at him, or we’ll have opposite schedules for a while and I just miss him, and he’ll take it as me being moody. I like having sex when I’m stressed or frustrated, makes me feel better, but he’s the opposite - any hint of stress and he’s out of the mood.

A little sad or emotional, sure. A foul mood, definitely not. I can’t have sex with someone when they are just being really negative. It’s just not attractive to me 🤷‍♀️ Especially if they have been taking their mood out on me in anyway.
