Mama/dada when babbling but doesn’t say it as a means to communicate to us ..

My son babbles all day long but mama/dada/baby are his only words he says... I’m shocked some are saying 20+ words and feel super behind 😳

Ma, dai dai, and chi (for kitty) I think. Honestly not concerned.  He’s cute when he babbles.  So why rush it.  They’ll all talk sooner or later.  And then all we’ll hear is NO hahahahah.  20+ words is out of the ordinary and quite frankly hard to believe.

Elliott just babbles with the exception of momma and dog having meaning. 
At this age, babbling is still very much age appropriate!

Just babbles at my house. He says mama/dada (mostly mama) but that’s it. I’m not concerned. My 4 year old barely talked until she was 2.5! I was worried at 2 but she finally verbally exploded just before her 2.5 year well child check. I think some babies like to take in everything going on around them. Also, words at this point can be a simple “ba” sound at the same thing consistently. I’m so bad at picking up on things like that, so my son could be doing that and I’m oblivious to it 🤷🏻‍♀️.

My little guy doesn’t say anything. Just random noises. Boys tend to be slower than girls to develop in speech.

Just babbling here too and they are going to be 14 months in a couple days. They both say mama dada and wyatt says no but that's it. I hear twins take longer to start talking because they talk to eachother in their own abby language lol ...I'm really hoping this doesnt actually happen 🤣🤣
