When to see the DR.

Hey girls! 
I am 4 weeks pregnant as of today and I just scheduled my first prenatal appointment for July 29th and I’ll be in between 6 and 7 weeks, do you all think that’s a good time? Or should I try to push it back so that I can be sure to hear a heartbeat? This is my second pregnancy, my first ended in mc shy of 5 weeks in January. Thanks ladies!

Near 7 weeks is pretty typical. I would keep the appointment where it is

My first appointment was at 6 weeks 6 days and though i wasnt able to hear the heartbeat i got to see it. 174 bpm 💜

I personally would go two weeks later. Just in case. Because at 8/9 weeks, there for sure is heartbeat, and the thing inside looks a bit like a baby already. 😃 And also, if your dates are still somehow a bit off, then you would'nt be anxious, because they still can find the heartbeat (well, if you assume you are 9, actually are 7, all is well. But if you estimated 7 and actually are 5, then you have to go back soon and feel anxious in meantime).
