How often should you do sensory time with a newborn?

What do you mean by sensory time? If you sit and talk and sing with them they will be good. I wouldn't stress about setting up activities or anything.  All they really need are cuddles, food, and attention in the newborn stage.

They love to look at high contrast black and white images.  We just got some flash cards on amazon and they will just stare at them forever! Keeps them busy enough to shower :)
