Lice or dandruff?

Question

I have not been exposed or would have no idea why I would have it. It flakes off when I scratch my scalp. I’m 90% sure it’s not lice or eggs just wanted an opinion.

It’s neither. Dandruff is actually a fungus/yeast infection on the scalp. It’s usually yellow and can be oily/greasy. What you have is dry scalp. Don’t use dandruff products for dry scalp because they will dry your scalp even more. Do a coconut oil treatment or use and shampoo and conditioner for dry scalp.

Do a coconut oil hair mask! I have a really dry scalp during winter and summer & coconut oil has helped moisturize it, it doesnt help get rid of all of the dandruff but it does help with the dryness. Usually when i do a coconut oil hair mask ill lather it all over my head, my scalp and the tips of my hair, put a grocery bag over it and than ill wash it out after 45 minutes or ill sleep with the bag over my head!

Shake your hair over a sink and if it’s lice you’ll see some fall out
My daughter has had lice a few times and there’s literally nothing worse... Mayo and plastic bags 😂
