Anyone do the Blood Gender test for twins?

Thinking about having the DNA test done but not sure if I can have it done for twins. Has anyone had it done before? Are they reliable?

I did the Natera testing which is supposed to be 99% accurate. I’m so glad I did because we found out we’re having identical girls. We wouldn’t have known since babies are di/di and all genetic testing came back normal. Worth it!

I had it done, and it detected XY which means at least one boy, but they’re identical so we knew they’re both boys. Later ultrasounds confirmed the clear anatomy of two boys. 
Fraternal is harder because it could be one of each, so if it detects a boy you could have one boy one girl. The only way you’d know there is no boy is if the test comes back not detected any Y chromosome. Then you’d know two girls.

I did it with my twins and it was correct. But I am having 2 girls. I hear alot that if your having a boy and a girl it is not as accurate because they detect the y chromosome for one but the second baby can still be either a boy or girl.

I’m 13 weeks with IVF fraternal twins and had my blood drawn at 10weeks 2days. I did it mostly for the genetic screening purpose. Had my blood drawn on 6/29 and I got my results on 7/7. I’m having low risk girls, waiting until my anatomy scan to announce to make sure. I did the Natera Panorama test. Good luck!

I did the blood gender test and it was accurate. I am having identical twins tho so not sure if that helps or not that they are the same gender?

There is a specific blood test for twins. I had it done and they were able to tell us at 11 weeks one boy and one girl.

i’m expecting twins and will be having this drawn next tuesday at my 10 week appt :)
