Does anyone know what I should expect from getting a colposcopy with biopsies and endometrial biopsy?

UPDATE: I had my colposcopy with biopsies and endometrial biopsies done yesterday, August 5, 2020. I got myself all worked up over nothing! I took two arthritis strength extended release 8hr tylenol (each 165mg) and one 800mg ibuprofen 30 minutes before my appointment, and I'm happy to say that it worked! I was completely relaxed and didn't feel any pain, pressure, or discomfort at all! My doctor talked to me during the whole process, and it was over very quickly! It was like an extended pap smear. It's 3:02am here in Saint Augustine, FL, and I only just took another 800mg ibuprofen because I was starting to feel just the slightest discomfort in my cervix from the colposcopy. I go back on December 7th for what my doctor called a "surveillance" pap to follow up and monitor everything to see if there's anything to be concerned with. In the meantime, I have to wait a week for my results to come back, and my doctor said he will call me as soon as they come in, after he's read them first of course. And I got to see, and get hugs from, my favorite midwife before I left so I was very happy.

ADVICE: Definitely take tylenol and ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment so it has time to take effect, and bring a pantyliner for after the procedure because there will be minor bleeding for a little while afterwards. If you don't have pantyliners ask the nurse if she can get one for you. Mine offered so I didn't have to ask, and I was in a rush so I didn't grab one before leaving the house, so I was very thankful when she offered it.

I don't know what the correct group is for posting this, so if this is not the correct group please politely let me know what the correct group is. I'm 34 (April 30th) and have 3 kiddos (14yrs, 12yrs, 16 1/2 months).

The results of my pap came back abnormal again. It was confirmed I had HPV a couple years back. My doctor wants to do a colposcopy with biopsies and an endometrial biopsy too just to be thorough. They scheduled me for tomorrow August 5, 2020 at 3:30pm, and they also mentioned that my cervix would be numbed with lidocaine via needle before taking the cervix biopsies, and now I'm really panicking because I absolutely hate needles and don't have much of a pain tolerance, even after having 3 kiddos (I had the epidural with all 3 and never felt the needle each time). I can handle mild to moderate cramping but nothing severe. Would 800mg ibuprofen block all the pain or combine 800mg ibuprofen with maximum strength midol or tylenol? Thank you in advance to anyone who shares their experiences and/or pain med recommendations!
