How long into your relationship did you and your s/o exchange “I love you”’s? Who said it first? What made you want to say it at that time? How’d you know it was the right time?

my husband said it first a week into being together. he had been in love with me for a LONG time, i said it a little while after. i dont think there is a right or wrong time to fall in love, it’s just whenever you feel it

I said it first. 😅 it took him a loooong time after I did for him to say it. I think he even got a bit scared when I said it 😂. Anyway, even tho it was uncomfortable and weird, I am glad he said it when he actually felt it, and not just out of nowhere.

I said it by accident after 3 months of dating. We spent the night together and I was running a bit late to work, the words just came out without thought. He said it less than a week later on Valentine's day.
