Normal???

Question

I’m jealous that my baby won’t be the “baby of the family anymore” as 2 in laws are having babies very soon. I’m jealous that the focus won’t be on my 14 month daughter and my MIL will be more in love and focused on these 2 newborns on the way that will be living with her. 
Strange I know.
Is this normal feeling?

No that’s not normal and that’s weird tbh. You should be really excited to have new baby nieces and nephews and that your baby is going to have cousins . 
People can love more than 1 child at once

Not really. Life happens. Your LO has had a lot of time. All babies are loved, generally, no matter their age!

Jealous might not be the right word.
I feel sad for my daughter that her younger cousin ( my nephew) gets a lot more time and attention spent on him.
But I also feel sad for my nephew, my sister isn't a bad mum but we didn't have the best childhood. I decided I wanted better for my myself and any future family I'd have so worked hard to do just that. Unfortunately my sister seems to be repeating history.

I totally understand. I have an 11 week old and my sister in law just had a baby. She will definitely be getting lots of attention from my parents now and my little girl will get less. It does make me a little bit jealous /sad. Obviously really happy they have had a baby but I was enjoying my little one getting lots of attention.
My mother in law also seems more interested in my 18 month old nephew rather than her more recent granddaughters. Whenever he is there all the attention is on him and not my little girl. I'm sure it's not deliberate but it's frustrating.

I think a little bit of jealousy about it is completely normal.
If you end up holding resentment toward your nieces or nephews, that’s another thing entirely. 
Just remember that your daughter will always have a special relationship with her grandparents, even if she’s not the baby anymore.

I was in a position where I lived with my parents with my son so they had a grand baby living with them and tbh when my nieces came over to visit they still got lots of attention when they came because my parents didn't get to see them every day like they had with my son so don't feel like they will only want to be around the grand baby's they live with because that's probably not going to be the case,they will be very excited when they get a visit for you and your daughter too because your not always around. Please just try to be excited about your daughter getting new cousins to play with and your getting new nieces or nephews to love! The babies arnt even here yet so don't work yourself up about situations that haven't even happened, if you notice once the babies are here and you visit them and your always being ignored or pushed aside then you should speak up about it but your just thinking about "what ifs" that haven't happened.
