When should you take a pregnancy test?

My husband and I are TTC and I am 3 days late for my period. I took a test today and got a negative reading. Could it be that I just tested to early? I have been extremely nauseous all day and I'm really hoping it's for a purpose! Lol :) please let me know what you guys think and also when you think the best time to take a test is. Thanks!

Do you know when you ovulated? If not, it could be you ovulate later than normal, which means two things: expected AF would be later and it might be too early to get a + if you are pregnant. Good luck!!

My bestie took tests for a few weeks, she finally made her doctor do a blood test and sure enough she is expecting a little bundle of joy! I didn't think it was possible, but you can test weeks after missing your period and get false negatives! Gl and baby dust!

My dr always told me to test on the 35th day of my cycle to see if I was prego or not so maybe try that hope that helps
