In shock!

So after a horrible few days of having constant aches and some sharp pains in my stomach I managed to get some time to rest, figured I was just over doing it so rested all afternoon and then took a bath. Nothing eases them so decided to ring the clinic and all they could offer me was to wait in a & e to be seen by gynae who would check me over but not perform an ultrasound. So i got straight on the phone and the place I’m going to next week for a gender scan managed to fit me in tonight. So I paid for a private scan, just to make sure babys heart was still beating so I could put my mind at rest that it wasn’t the signs of a miscarriage.

Good news!!

the tech let me listen to the heartbeat 💓

Which was very much present. It was such a relief.

Near the end of the ultrasound she asked me would I like to know what baby was. And I just couldn’t contain my excitement so told her yes, yes I would like to know.

So turns out we’re having a GIRL! 💓

After 2 boys.

She asked did I want photos but I said no as I’m still keeping my appointment next week so my husband can come in to see baby too.

I got bad in the car where my husband and sons was waiting told hi everything was okay and she told me the gender.

He guessed boy and when I said no girl he started t tear up!!

This an never cried each time I give birth or even on our wedding day. It was so sweet to see.

The pains haven’t gone but my mind is eased somewhat. I don’t feel the need to go sit in a & e for hours now though. Unless it get significantly worse. Alls I wanted to know was that the pains was not from something wrong with baby.

I have my private ultrasound in 8 days and then next hospital check up 7 days after that.

We are beyond blessed it just doesn’t seem real.

I’m not sure wether to tell everyone yet or wait until next week. Only my mum knows we have the ultrasound booked for next week as she needs to mind the boys while we go.

So think we may tell before then. Just unsure incase t changes when we go back next week.

I’m 15 weeks today and the tech seemed very confident it was a girl!

What do you ladies think the chances are of it being a a wrong gender?
