I know we all change throughout life but the person I was when I met my husband vs who I am now is completely different if not the opposite of who I was. Idk how to really feel connected since we are so different now. He stayed the same but I changed. I’ve grown up. We have had 2 kids. It’s only been 4 years but I’m just so different even on a political level. I was a republican now I’m a democrat even. I just opened my mind and see more and he’s very much stuck in his ways. How does a marriage continue if you change? I still love him I just have anything in common with him anymore.
