My baby girl is 4 weeks 4 days old and she has been getting these rashes on skin since last four days.

It started off with rash on the right side of her face where she usually turns and sleeps and then it spread on right side of her face then neck and chest and yesterday it was on her tummy as well.

Today we had one month doc visit and I got multiple answers and advised to be only concerned if more redness or bleeding occurred. I was told it’s mostly baby acne that may go away after 3 months or dry skin or mild allergic reaction.

However I am not comfortable doing nothing about this... It seems to worsen everyday. I bathe her only twice a week, and I wash her skin with soapy wash cloth only then with water wash cloth twice a week. I use a Aveeno moisturizer (fragrance free) and Cetaphil body wash.

Did anyone’s baby have this or were able to precisely know what this is and how to get her smooth skin back?

And how often do other moms bathe their 2 month olds?
