He blocked me, I don’t know why... (UPDATED)

We were having a normal conversation. It was literally a fun conversation where he was like “hahaha” all the time and I was teasing him. At some point I agreed on one of his statements where he was like “ok?” And I was like “okkkk”. Then he was like “well done hahaha” and I was like “see? Im a good example for you”. The message was never seen and when I pressed on his account, it wouldn’t load and it would say that user not found, which means I was blocked. I tried through my other account (my blog) to search for his account and it could perfectly load, so it’s not a malfunction.

I just don’t know why he did that... we were actually having fun. I started thinking that it has happened by accident, and in this case I don’t know if I should reach out for him via another account and explain what he has done (he may think I’ve blocked him). But how can anyone block someone by accident?

At the moment I’m really depressed, it’s 2am and I’m in my anxiety not knowing what I should do. I’m sure it’s a mistake, he’d never stop talking to me like that. He nearly got depressed the other day in the thought of not talking to me. I can’t sleep thinking that he may have decided to stop talking to me all of the sudden without any explanation. What should I do?

UPDATE

He unblocked the next morning. It may have been just an instagram issue. I hope so, the gf comments have brought me extra thoughts now. He initiated a conversation with a good morning text as if nothing has happened. I hope it was a network issue or something like that. If it happens again I’ll ask.
