Anyone trying a Vbac?

I really want to try and give birth naturally since I had my daughter through emergency csection due to her heart rate dropping after 24hrs into the labor once I was induced. I had my daughter 13yrs ago so I think that my scar should be healed enough. My clinic has several doctors so the one that I spoke to didn’t seem too enthusiastic about the idea of a vbac.

I am trying for a VBAC. I had my daughter 2 years ago and had an emergency c section for the same reason you did - her heart rate was dropping. In my case, I was in labor for about 13 hours (including the early stages at home, I was only actually in the hospital for about 7-8 hours). I was fully dilated but still at -1 so I couldn’t start pushing. My OB, who is a different one than last time, did explain there’s a chance she didn’t drop due to my anatomy but my OB at the time generally felt I was a VBAC candid because my labor was progressing well. My current one didn’t seem to bat an eye when I said I wanted to try

If I understood my doctor correctly, if you’ve gone through labor it makes you a less likely candidate for a VBAC. That doesn’t mean you can’t have one, just that some doctors might be skeptical ☺️ 
My first pregnancy was a c section (baby was breech) and with this pregnancy, right away I was offered the chance to try for a VBAC since i never went into labor but I chose to stick with another csection. 
There are SO many positive VBAC stories- you’ve got this mama. Just gotta find a doctor who is on board!

My son was born in May of 2019 it was a  three day labor, his heart rate kept dropping , so I had to have an emergency c section, this time around I will be trying a vbac, my due date is October 16, it depends entirely on the reasons for your c section, and the type of your incision if it’s transverse and not horizontal then it would be extremely hard to find a dr that would allow a vbac to happen.
Seems to me that you may need to advocate stronger or find another dr that is willing to let you try for a vbac, 18 months is the minimum recommended time between births for a vbac to happen, I have refused a cesarean, unless it absolutely has to happen in an emergency and it will be 16 1/2 months between my children’s births.

My first baby was a failed induction. My second baby was a VBAC and it was such an incredible experience! Shop around for a doctor who's supportive. It's worth it! I'll be hopefully having another this time around too. 😊

I’m trying for a vbac. My first is 2.5 years old and he was a cesarean for failure to progress after induction. 
With vbac, I find that the doctors aren’t going to take you seriously unless you are like guns ablaze and doing all the research. Check out the VBAC link for more resources and information. They have a very helpful, supportive and non judgy Facebook group. There’s likely no real reason they wouldn’t do it on you other than they just don’t do them. I would find a supportive provider.

I am but I'm from the UK and my doctor actively encouraged vbac over planned section. I had my son 2 years ago via emcs after a failed induction and it turned out he was brow down.

I’m currently trying decide between vbac and cesarean. My doctor has been trying to get me to do once since first appointment, I’ve asked for my vbac succession rate that they calculate, and good information on vbac before I make my decision. I’ll be just over two years from previous csection when this baby is due to arrrive.
