Endo? Help me :(

Hello, 
    I just found out I have severe endometriosis. I am scared and just wondering what options I have. What my future for kids would be like? Should I just get a hysterectomy :( 
Did any of you have severe weight gain? How much weight did you gain?  Severe back pain?

Girl it’s hard, really hard.
If you can have kids well go for it, otherwise getting a hysterectomy isn’t a cure a lot of women do this and it doesn’t actually help.
I Have gained weight mainly cause of the pain and being unable to exercise and eating poorly I’m currently trying to lose weight.
I also have severe endometriosis and I’m also scared.. I’ll be getting a surgery in a few months and will know more about fertility and other things

Find a specialist. Hysterectomy is not a cure for endometriosis as by its definition Endo is endometrial-like tissue found in extrauterine sites. Please check out an office like the Center for Endometriosis Care to read about endometriosis before meeting with your doctor. Gain your own knowledge about endo so you can make sure the doctor you meet with actually has an understanding of endometriosis. They will run through all your symptoms and come up with a unique plan for treatment!
I had stage 4 endometriosis. I didn't realize it until after two miscarriages in 2017. I did have an expert excision surgery in 2018 and my doctor knew protesting my fertility was a priority. However, over two years later and post-op report is still unreal to me  
My symptoms are gone. The craziest example to me is that I haven’t had a migraine since my surgery. For seventeen years, I suffered 2+ debilitating migraines each month. And now I’m migraine free. I know this is not a coincidence. 
I also did not have the typical symptoms I’d heard about for endometriosis. I have what my doctors always said were regular cycles and suffered no pain during sexual intercourse or heavy/irregular bleeding. The only reason I suspected endometriosis was because a 4cm chocolate cyst was found on my right ovary (my awful, multi-week hip and leg pain side) during a pregnancy ultrasound - missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. Note: I had mentioned my horrible cramps, migraines, nipple pain and bowel symptoms to doctors over the years - and every doctor I had just brushed it off (which is why finding a knowledgeable doctor is key). Oh. And my bowel symptoms were so so so bad - That also feels miraculous. I can now train for and run my marathons without suffering major 💩 issues. 
As I said, even with knowledge of my other symptoms, multiple doctors didn’t think I had endo. That is when I sought out a specialist. I was 31 and wanted to have a baby, but I knew endo would just get worse. Thank God I had the resources to advocate for myself and have expert excision surgery. I now have a one year old and we just started trying for another baby.
