Baby shower ?

Is anyone still doing a baby shower and what month are you having it ? September? 
This is my second child but 17 yrs apart and I don’t even know should I do a baby shower , when and if it’s even possible since covid . What is everyone doing for theirs ??

This is our 8th baby. We have 6 girls and 1 boy, but our son is 15, so if this baby is a boy, we need boy stuff. When i have my ultrasound in August, I’m going to have the tech write down what we’re having and put it in an envelope. I’m going to give it to my 2nd oldest daughter and my husband. If it’s a girl, they’re going to host a virtual gender reveal. If it’s a boy, they’re going to host a virtual baby shower. That way i can be surprised. But I’m not sure quite when we will be doing ours. It all depends on my son’s chemo treatments and when he’s discharged from the hospital. Probably late August though because my husband can’t keep a secret like that very long.

We are having a virtual shower the end of September. My MIL and SIL actually offered to host it which I thought was nice. It’s our first baby so we need everything and all the help we can get.

We're thinking, if we do something, it will be in October, but probably will wait until September to plan it to see how the world is. If we do an in-person shower, it would definitely be outside (another reason to wait as I'm from NY and October is always unpredictable weather wise). I'm not sure yet what we'll do if that's not possible. My husband and I have been picking up some of the bigger ticket items already though just in case the world falls apart before then 😅

I’m having a baby shower probably in September or October. I have no friends though and our families don’t like each other so it’ll be like 3 different showers with just family

My mom really wanted to try to do a small socially distant one in September, but no longer feels comfortable. My sister will help her organize a virtual one for family and then my best friend (the godmother) will do a virtual one for my friends.

My plan is for hopefully having a small shower in maybe October.
I have ZERO baby things. I’m starting completely over.  My kids are going To be 8 and 11 soon.
I don’t want a massive party, just my close group of friends and my parents basically.
