When did you start using cloth?

Hi ladies,
Very new to this (I'm currently 13+4 with my first)! 
Just wondering when you started using cloth diapers. Did you use them from day 1 or did you wait until you had feeding etc under control?

Started day 2 the day we got home from hospital.. First pic is him about day 3 and bottom pic is him at 1 week old. They fit him great! And don't irritate his umbilical stump. I don't have to change any often then I would with disposables. I have done one wash so far and going to throw in a load today.. It's just as easy as disposables but I'm not filling up the garbage ;) I've also taken him out to my in laws and to dr appt with cloth with no problem! Just threw a few in diaper bag have my wet bag in there too and change him when needed! Very easy!!!!

I deeply regret not cloth diapering with my first. With my Second, I didn't start till around six months. I regret waiting. It's honestly the best. I was told so many horror stories about how hard it was I was honestly scared to invest the money just to not continue with it.

I'm new to this too - 15w3d with my first. My husband and I decided to save our money and not buy newborn cloth diapers and just use disposables for the first two weeks or so. It also saves our sanity while adjusting to the new baby and not needed to do laundry every two days for diapers right away. We will just buy one-size diapers and use them when our baby can fit into them.

Were going to contract pre folds with a diaper service for the first few weeks till his cord falls off. That way we don't have to launder any and I can concentrate on getting used to life with our little dude first. I'll be a basket case I'm sure so less laundry the better!

We started the day we got home from the hospital. They wouldn't allow cloth there so we had to use pampers. :-/. They smelled. Cloth is so much better!!!

I started at 4 weeks. I only bought OS diapers. So they were really big on him but they worked. I had aplix(Velcro) so it was easier to get a good fit. I plan to start earlier when I get pregnant with baby #2. I'm on my second month TTC.

Around 6 months with my daughter, I really wish I would of started sooner I had no idea of the cloth diapers they have now I always thought it was the old school whole safety pin on the sides thing but boy was I wrong. I have another baby on the way and will be cloth diapering him as well, but until his umbilical cord stump falls off. So i'm just going to use disposables for about a week or 2

I'm new to this too. I was going to wait till after the first week to do cloth but 100 newborn diapers are $25 😳😳 Money is tight so I think we'll use the cloth after we're home from the hospital.
