How often are your LOs nursing?

I am nursing my babe 5x a day and he eats solids/purées 3x a day. He doesn’t seem like he needs to nurse sometimes but i initiate it as part of our routine. Just wondering how often others are nursing. Can I drop down to four?

At least 5 😴 But she's a smaller so never eats very much or for very long. Nor sure how to change that... 😂😅

We nurse 6 times and do solids 3 times a day.

We were on 6, just today I've switched the two when she wakes up from naps for a snack and water, it went great! So down to 4 now :) 9.5 months old

My son is almost 9m and we usually nurse 5x a day. He has solids 2x a day.

I nurse 4 times although the last feed is from both breasts so not sure if that counts as 5. My daughter is 9.5 months old now and I can tell she's decreasing her nursing sessions because she doesn't drain them like she used to. I remember with my older 2 girls I didn't cut out feeds until they decreased their feeds like this. The morning and bedtime feeds were the last to go. Honestly I think I could easily replace our afternoon feed with a small snack pretty soon. Maybe that would work for you?

I’m still nursing about that often as well. My baby is not very regimented so her naps are all over the place despite attempts to get them on a routine. Some days she won’t eat much of the purées so we end up doing more milk.
