I don’t typically get the flu shot, but my doctors recommended it with my daughter (both mid December) & again with my son (due the first week of October) just as a simple safety measure 🙃 My daughter and Hubby will get them before my son arrives simply because newborns immune systems are sooooo sensitive.

If you are delivering flu season, a lot of hospitals won’t allow you to be in the mother baby/delivery area without having had it. I know in my area, the hospital does a lockdown and won’t allow anyone under the age of 18 in the area at all and those that are 18 and over must show proof of having had the flu shot to be allowed in.

We have two kids in school and my husband and I an essential worker m. We will most definitely be getting flu shots

Hubs and I are military so we are always required to get the flu shot
