Both. It is of course your choice whether to be tested or not. It is also the morally responsible thing to do.

To test, to self-isolate, AND, most importantly, to tell all the people you were around that you had been exposed to somebody who tested positive (even if you test negative).

I was exposed to a positive person. I told everyone and distanced my self and got tested. It was negative thanks to wearing my face mask. But I still told people.
