Baby shower?!

I planned to have a baby shower, small, September 12. I assumed most people wouldn’t go and just send me something. This is my dream come true. Our last pregnancy and a boy, we lost 2 previously, and I wanted to shower him with love! I already ordered cake, dessert table, backdrop and supplies... now my mom is telling me I need to cancel it. Do a virtual or drive by shower. Idk what to do.

Still planning on having an in person baby shower. We are having it outside + requiring masks when you can’t be 6ft apart. My mom + I have very strict guidelines that everyone must follow.

I was going to have a shower at my aunt’s house but they all tested positive for Covid so now I’m like naaaa. I don’t even wanna chance it. I did an online baby registry and sent it out to everyone.

I’m doing an in person shower outdoors only in a few weeks. It will just be a few close family and friends..no more than 15 people tops. And we will require masks unless they are eating. If they want to come great, if not we understand too. It would just be nice to have a small celebration. This is my first and we’re having twins so we’d love to celebrate! I’d say set your boundaries and have it if your comfortable. You do deserve to celebrate!

I’m having a babyshower on the 12th of September, it’s my boyfriend birthday and I’ll be 36 weeks with our son ! So I wanted to make it special . Despite the virus .. a lot of my family and friends really want to come to our baby shower so I’m still going to have one ! I can also use the extra lil gifts .. in my opinion I think you should have it !
