For those living in same town with in-laws...

Specific question and not really sure where to ask it! But I'm just wondering for those of you who live close to your in laws, how often do you hang out with them? And how often do they see their grandkids? And if you don't live close to yours, how often would you think is a good amount? I'm just wondering what is actually realistic and doable for most families. I ask in laws because I assume they kind of get left out more than our own moms and dads! But I know it depends on your own personal relationships. So feel free to respond in regards to how often you see your parents as well if you live in the same town as them.
